Adventure use Valmex and Heytex in the construction of all of their boats. These are premium materials, each composed of seven layers.

Material and Thermobonding

The base fabric acts as a rip-stop
layer. The top coat and surface
sealing coats ensure there will
be no fading or colour degradation

Valmex and Heytex have outstanding properties;

Phenomenal strength - it is virtually impossible to tear Valmex and Heytex

Almost completely unaffected by ultra-violet light - no fading or degradation of material even after many years

Superlative resistance to oils and fuels

Perfectly suited to Thermobonded construction

Completely impermeable; air cannot escape, water cannot enter

Extremely abrasion-resistant

Outstanding high and low-temperature performance

Extremely easy to repair

Unaffected by repetitive folding and unfolding

Seam construction is permanent and virtually indestructible

The Thermobonding process uses heat to permanently join seams and tubes. The resultant bond is so strong that any possibility of
failure is extremely remote. Adventure do not only bond the joints on the outside of the tube; there is also a bonding strip inside, further
ensuring that the tubes on Adventure boats are virtually indestructible. No gluing is used by Adventure in the manufacturing process.
The Thermobonding method does not only guarantee total reliability - it also assures absolute consistency in the seaming process.
